How sad for me... I would express my gratitude for learning this information and move on elsewhere. I trust if the Lady says something, that she is what she says she is and leave it at that... You can not change other people, you can only change yourself. To think otherwise is simply arrogance of the worst kind. There are two reasons why a woman might say this to me; she is what she says and therefore has no interest in me, or she isn't and she has no interest in me but does not want to use those words exactly. Either way, it is pointless to pursue a woman with no interest in me. I am too old to waste any time on a pointless endeavor and by telling me, she has saved me wasted effort.
I came to look at the question and the answers, and then after I saw "What a waste" I had to say something. I think that about some gay men as well. And I also usually say it out-loud..
