I was a little girl back in 1998.
The world to me was always bright and everyone to me always looked innocent. To, the world was divided into good people and bad and that good people have no flaws and the bad people will never be good. I was immature and I didn't know any better but my parents always taught me what right.
Ten years forward to the present.
I learned alot about human existence and how hard life can be. It didn't occur to me before the world was definitely one screw-ball after another. Racism, Wars, Corruption, Media Influence, Early pregnancies, Divorce, and famine are present. To be honest, I can never imagined letting the future generations feel bad about this world.

I don't think there are any significant differences between now and 10 years ago except more people have internet and digital cameras and those electronic music players.
Life was simpler, but not as much fun, life was harder but now we have the technology to make it somewhat simple.
yes, it was a little bit simpler because it was before 911. personally, no, there were still problems and worries.
Well clearly, New York's twin towers of the World Trade Centre were still standing.
Afghanistan and Iraq had not been invaded by the West.
its so much harder then when it was 1998 i was only 18 did not have a clur about life
worse,more conflict in the world,ppl continue to starve to death and nature is suffering.
life was a bit more simple 10 years ago...most of us were young and happy...now we just live in hellish world.
really, things were much better 10 years ago...and i hope people would agree with that.

The world hasn't changed, people change. But in 1998 Clinton was in office and it was scandal ridden because he was having affairs with interns. Bush is in office and he runs a clean office, no scandals, although, he did take us to war, but rather over there than here. I fear what is going to happen should we pull out of this war without a clear end in sight.
To start off with I was 10 years younger and life wasnt as hectic as it now.
The world hasnt really changed that much because the same type of things are still going on, just seems more in the news about bad things.
I also wouldnt say its worse, but its also not calmer... People have more possessions these days than 10 years ago, because technology has evolved more and everyone seems to want the better..
10 years ago i was in a full time job but it got better cause i'm now part time cause my son was born and he is 8 this year so it's lovely to spend the day with him during school holidays cause i work evenings.
I guess it is, before life was easier compared to now, I was young then and never worried about those things that I do worry about right now.
It was better then, in 1998 there were only a few reality shows around.

911 hadn't happened yet,so before than i never noticed some of the stuff i do now.911 changed me 4-ever so it seems it was simpler then i guess you could call it ignorance
