The weather is so good here in Wales at the moment that I will be taking some ofmy grandchildren on a train to Barry Island
Not here it isn't, we get ours next week.
How about taking them to the library?

Not half term till next week for my two. God that's crept round quick! Thankfully I'm working so they can entertain themselves, lol!
holiday here was last week. unfortunately it's over already. No more room in the metro in the moning...

I'll be taking mine for long daily walks with the dog.We may have a picnic if the weather stays dry.My kids like going to the local library as they can not only borrow books, but hire dvd's for a ￡1 for 7 days.We'll also be going swimming and for a ride on our bikes.My husband is booking one day off so we can take the kids somewhere nice too.
Mine are at home and I am at work!!! This holiday business sure is akward!! My husband has sold his business and will become the stay at home dad by the beginning of March so I can't wait for lovely home cooked meals and a sparkling house to come home to!!! PS: My children are teens by the way I am not totally irresponsible!!!
on tuesday one of the girls that's in my daughters class at school is coming over to play.My son will be at nursey in the afternoon so it's just a normal day to him.Monday im taking the kids to a soft play centre in the morning to let off a bit of steam and in the afternoon my daughter can do some art things which she cant do when her little brother is around as he does'nt leave her in peace to do it.Wednesday,not sure what we're doing yet.
Get out and about while the sun is shining......go for a walk or to your local park.
Take them swimming, invite their friends over for a picnic lunch...can be done inside if it's raining (get the kids to do the food)
Cook something with them
Find out what's on locally and try out something new
Have a race day...who can make their bed first, brush their teeth, pack a bag for a day out etc
Take them on a train (cheap day return)
How old are they ? Mine love cooking, bake some cookies, do some fresh fruit kebabs- let them choose their fave fruit, local playscheme ?? Go visit friends (good 1 - trash someone elses` house!) swimming, cinema, obstacle course in the garden, if they are tiny get a HUGE cardboard box and let them make a house, get some crayons/paints - (be brave ! ha ha) and decorate the cardboard box house, let them put cushions inside to sit on, if it`s rainy, make them a carpet pic-nic indoors - spread a rug, eat and just have fun, if they are older - swimming, bowling, football, , ice-skating, dog-walking, horse-riding, and my fool-proof response if they say they are bored. .GO CLEAN YOUR ROOM. . . They will disappear in seconds. . . .

liverpool is has been voted culture city 2008, visit there famous for ferry, beatles, much more.

Round our way Half Term isn't until next week sparks. And as I've only got one left at school now and he's 15 he entertains himself - I just need to shell out the money for the pictures etc !!
Anyway we've got a really lovely sunny day here....if you have as well why not a trip up the park or something similar. Get them out for free before the rain comes towards the end of the week
