Now, what do I do about a crap wedding shower? My best friend and I agreed we were not doing a stuffy, sitting around opening gifts (mostly towels, right?) in someone's house and pretending it was fun. We're actually doing something fun. We're restaurant hopping.
And then I found out a friend of his mom wants to throw me a shower and invite . . . a whole bunch of old women I don't know. And most of them won't be invited to the wedding.
I didn't know what to say, so I just shrugged my shoulders and said, "Uh, OK. If she really wants to do it . . ."
