I once had a really old TV that had no remote control - only big buttons on the front (YEARS ago!!)
It sat at the end of my bed.
I taped two sticks together and used to balance that on my foot, pointing it to the buttons to change channel. Hey presto - instant (but primitive) remote control.
I don't like to think of it as laziness - more like genius.
Am I getting away with that.......?
