when you buy a cheap printer, the money that they hope to make comes from the ink cartriges (sp?) they sell
Consumer Reports constantly rates Canon printers as a "Best Buy" because of the overall quality of the machine, and the low cost of replacement cartrtidges (damn, I spelled it wrong again)

too much use of ones printer/scanner,maybe you should of bought a system more appropiate to amount of work you intended on putting thru it! You should be able to get refills,its cheaper!
Get a new albatross, I mean cartridge.
