Yes it has! I feel your pain, I really do. That is why I don't post pictures of myself online anymore. There are some truly sick, twisted, miserable people online who get their kicks out of trying to destroy other people's lives. I've told many people not to post their pictures. But they thought I was paranoid. I'm tellin ya, be very careful. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Try and google yourself, to see what comes up. Your pictures can be anywhere. Mine were posted overseas too.

um..my identity was stolen via the mail. The person racked up thousands of dollars on a credit card. The Bank saw the charges and knew I had not been using it for anything other than gas purchases..so they called.
So I guess that kind of qualifies..but never in the manner you have been.
Pathetic.
That is the #1 reason that I do not post any personal pictures of me or my family on those site.
I've been lucky, I just get hate mail.

i'm so sorry for you! no, i never have posted any pictures of myself, because i have heard of such horror stories, such as yours. it sucks that there are such terrible people out there with so much time on their hands who have nothing better to do. i'm sure she must be jealous, because you are such a beloved person here at p&s.

There has got to be something you can do about that. It's a shame that you have to be so careful on the internet because of asstrolls ruining everything. I remember years back when there was this site I used to frequent and now it's closed down because of trolls. Yours is different though in that someone has stolen from you and you should be able to take some kind of legal action.
Thank God, nothing this bad has come my way.
Too bad we can't just hunt them down and beat them to death with baseball bats. Trolls suck!
