dont ever mince words...just come out and say it...
"I wouldn't want to burden you with the responsibility."
Just tell them that you are a shallow person and aren't really that good of a friend that you want to participate in their happy occasion.
i would tell her that u r not financially equipt to handle the responsibility and that you are also in someone elses wedding around that time so u cannot afford both...but dont forget to mention the other wedding once in a while...lol
