they walk all over you and know they can continue to take advantage of you because you keep your mouth shut about it

They get elected into office.

they continue to lie to you. Its hard though.. I was cheated on and lied to and he kept promising to change yet kept it up. I really did love him so it was hard to let go and walk away because he was all I had but finally you have to realize that your just being walked all over and that you deserve better.
