I loved Pepperoni Pizza and could not get enough of it as a child because my parents weren't all that crazy about it unless it came from Shakey's Pizza. But they've been out of business a long time down here. Oh, and my mother made the most wonderful mashed potatoes and she made banana pudding that would knock your socks off. Yummmy. LOL, not all at the same time of course, but those are some foods that I really remember well and never seemed to get tired of eating. ;)
My mother used to make the best baked beans with pork chops on top. It would be that or the great chicken she would cook.
My mom's tuna and noodle casserole with potato chips on top. (I think the potato chips were a 50's thing.)
Same as now: ice cream
Anything with pasta :)
Anything my grandmother would cook. She was my inspiration !
