Do you like it when people tell you to "calm down"?!

Question: Not if its a scouser!! lol

Answers: Not if its a scouser!! lol

I regret them having to say it!

No, very irritating. Just as bad when they say 'there, there'.

depends what accent they say it in!

no, i calm down when i get good and ready to. what about you?

Even more angry.

I HATE it! It only escalates my feelings of anger. Gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil!

no, it only makes me feel more uncalm :-)

No, lol! That's a signal for me to get even crazier.?

no, cuz i'm usually calm when they say that! which only gets me amped up, cuz i didn't feel i needed to be calmed in the first place.

hell no

No, and I sure make them "feel sorry" they ever asked me to "calm down" in the first place !! When I'm angry, I need to explode, period !!!!!!!!

Yeah and it really makes me want to tear their freaking heads off. So much for calm.

it depends what tone they say it in

No--because I am emotional when I get angry. I-We all- have the right to our feelings. If something upsets us--as long as you don't hurt someone--you have the right to your feelings!!!

No.

that gets me soooooo pissed off

hell no- makes it worse

No, cuz the people who tell you that are usually the ones who get really worked up themselves. My dad and brother do that.

hate it and it usually makes me more angry.

It depends on how angry/mad I was then. and who's saying it also HOW they're saying it. For example, if the person is like:"omg, calm down! what's WRONG with you??" then I would hate them. :| .. but that's just me :) lol

my mom absolutely HATES it when we tell her to calm down, that's the last thing you want to say to her because she will do the opposite and blow up!

No it gets on my nerves!

Absolutely not ! I get really mad if someone says that to me !
