I keep it in my pocket if alone and if with a friend pass it to them. therefor both.
I step on it. . .and so does the majority of the population. The government is getting rid of the penny, and soon its value will be null. So get to it and start exchanging all your pennies for dollars - that is, if you still have any pennies

Pick it up, that's money. I always try to have some loose change in my pocket. I hate writing a check for .01 over the whole dollar amount.

I pick it up, always hope it's going to be a wheat penny.
Half of the time I pick it up, depending on where I find it (dry area or wet area), and other times I just walk right pass it.
Say the poem and then normally the kids end up arguing who is going to get it

i pass it on....i was told that if you find a 5p piece then keep it and put it over the first door that you come through in your house...that's meant to be good luck too....i did this and now i have a whole ledge full of 5p's, when i close my door a few drop down and hit my head, so i don't think it's a good luck ting...just a sore head thing...
Most of the time I pick it up, unless I am going to get trampled on by all the people on the sidewalk.
My kids always pick it up before me and then pass it on to me so i never get any luck lol
