All the big names and artists that have contributed something to music, as well as having long lasting musical careers themselves. These will be the music artists that will be remembered and could still be around musically in 25 years.

  • probably James Blunt. The weeds are always the hardest to kill.

    Me....I hope!

    Eran James

If she doesn't top herself I think Amy Winehouse could do it. I think Joss Stone may come into her own as she becomes an older woman.

I don't know, but you get a star.

Good question! Maybe Foo Fighters, Muse? These guys seem like they're very serious about their music (rather than just the drugs) so maybe they will last longer?

probably still Lulu, and she will still look the same!

I do believe Justin Timberlake might be the next Michael Jackson if he stays with making artistic music. I also believe Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Jimmy Eat World, and The Flamming Lips.

Don't see anyone popular today being around in 25 years time.

Like you say, all those who have currently been around for 25 years will either be dead or in homes, - with the possible exception of George Michael and Robbie Williams??

I can picture a 70 year old Bono crooning on a "variety" show in 2023 though... =p

they all will.....they make rotten boreing bland insipid inconsequential stupid elevator music that the record companies can safely ram down the mindless publics throats....its just too easy.............and if any of those geezers actually died, they'ld jsut pump out 9000 tribute albums...........the state of music today is freaking pathetic, there is nothing new or interesting. even rap has stopped innovating, the only thing left with any freaking energy in it is metal..............at least they try to do something different.oh and you forgot the eagles (yawn) jackson brown ( snoooooze) and why not yani!..........

Damon Albarn as he doesn't live the fast life!

Elvis will always be around =)

Justin Timberlake, switchfoot with the christian community, Korn, Faith Hill with country fans.

    hmmm good question.....

I'm thinking maybe Nine Inch Nails.... Madonna will probably still be going too... haha ummm... Kenny Chesney will be another Garth Brooks I'm thinking....

I'm rather interested to see who is still going to be belting out the tunes in 25 years...

well we can count amy whinehouse and britney spears because the will bothe die of either suicide or drug overdose but who id like to see still around are lostprofits

The Rolling Stones will probably STILL be around in 25 years.
All those drugs they took will preserve them forever.

    Probably Leona Lewis

    Usher
    Shakira
    Beyonce
    Jennifer Lopez
    Kelly Clarkson
    Justin Timberlake
