Do you enjoy going to "Museums" ??!
Question: I love to go there myself from time to time and what really amazes me, how well all the "museum guards" on each floor, know exactly where all the "masterpieces" are located and they do even know the name of the artists. Do you think they go through "art tests" before they are hired ???

I love the Met..a friend of mine used to be a guard there..He said he just got to know all the exhibits from being there so much. He was also an artist so I think it helped him get the job because of his knowledge of art.
yes, I love to. but by myself. this way I can take it all in.
"Art guards" are briefed prior to each show. They must know the artist, art and obviously the layout of the gallery. Some guards are actual "art students". I met a few at Tate Gallery in London last fall.
Love to go....I actually fulfilled a life long ambition and made it to the Simthsonian, I went there to see the picture of me standing next to the very first wheel.

Yes, very much so. Air and Space, Art, Natural History, I love them all.
I enjoy them as well. The guards probably get bored from looking over every exhibit or work time after time....
Not until I'm actually there! I don't really think about going unless I know there will be something interesting!
I never take the time and go but I do love museums! :)
