Yes. . . if he has a nice personality and takes care of his physical appearance (well groomed, nice teeth, smells nice, nice haircut, etc.) . . . that can help a person that's so called not attractive according to society's standards. I'm shallow (sad to say). I have tried once to date someone before that was a really good guy but he just wasn't cute at all to me, had to cut it off. I have also dated a really hot guy that was just dead on the inside i swear and had to cut that off as well.....I'm now lucky to have the perfect guy. He's very good looking which is why i started talking to him in the first place but he also has everything else..Lucky me!

Looks are important. If I consider them unattractive, then no, it wouldn't matter much. It takes a lot for me to find a person "ugly" though. I mean, generally what people see as ugly, isn't what I see as ugly. I wouldn't be able to be with someone I wasn't physically attracted to. I think that a person's personality or like you said, inner beauty, makes a person more attractive both physically and mentally.
