Has anyone ever used a butter knife for a screw driver?!

Indeed, (see my recent question). The thing is, no matter how many screwdrivers you have, in order to tighten the one screw you need to for the little job you're doing, the only damn thing that fits is...the butter knife.

I have. My husband doesn't trust me with his precious tools.
I've never done that, but once I used a pair of scissors as a key. And it worked!
