It it Mardi Gras. It is today and, it is celebrated in usually Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. Mostly known in New Orlenas though. It is just a day when we go to parades, have partys and celebrate. I live in New Orleans and because of this day I am off of school for the whole week this is an awesome holiday.
