I would have mixed feelings, because I would be like yeah ten points but then I would be disappointed if they didn't leave a comment and only gave me one star. Especially if I feel I gave a good answer.

No I would figure I gave an ok answer, better than any other answer but not the answer my contact was hoping for.
some contacts do that. i prefer feedback. 10 points do nothing for me. it's the feedback i like. i wouldn't be upset. but, i would be a bit disappointed.
