My mom never warned me about anything related directly to boys. She mostly warned me about throwing my life and ambitions away for one.
My mom warned me to be carefull because boys will tell you that they love you, and that your beautiful, and then they could only think about having sex. Boys like to take advantage of girls bodies, if they feel like it. ALot of boys rape, so she says to be very carefull and never go out with a boy alone, only if you know him really well.
