Is an English Muffin and a Crumpet the same thing?!

Question: If not, what's the diff?

Answers: If not, what's the diff?

They are different. Shaped about the same, the crumpet has holes in its surface and a more pancake-like quality, whereas a muffin is more bread-like.
By the way, can we refer to English muffins as muffins instead of qualifying them with the 'English' bit.

no, English muffin is more bread like
Crumpet has lots of holes in it, kinda hard to explain..

A crumpet is a savoury snack made from flour and yeast. It is eaten mainly in the United Kingdom, but also in the nations of the Commonwealth.
