Lyrics are important to me......I love music.
The meaning of the song is more important
depends on my mood ..
Sometimes I do..
i love good meaningful lyrics but i also like a great tune. on the rare occasions they are combined then i'm hooked for months playing the same old thing in my car.
i just bop along to the beat
Bop along most of the time but just sometimes a song sticks with you cos of the words.
Celine Dions Because you loved me sums up the relationship we had with my mum and so it was played at her funeral.
Sorry to be depressing but you did ask!!!!
I love a lot of catchy songs that have horrible lyrics,
but my favorite songs are the ones i can relate to.
Usually one line of the song will interest me, i'll look up the lyrics online and follow along with the song, and then it's almost like it's a whole new song altogether. When the artist sings the words that you wish you could say, or explains your thoughts perfectly...now that's a good song!!
And sometimes i'll read the lyrics to a song and say..."oh my gosh, THAT'S what that song was about???" and feel like a complete fool haha =)
I learn the words, wonder about the story behind the lyrics, and if I like the story, I go along with it. Sometimes the music is what gets me into a song (I like it with a great beat and if it's got guitar riffs I go mad). Songs by Backstreet Boys (greatest vocal group in the world), Idol winner Carrie Underwood, country duo Big + Rich, and country singer Trace Adkins are all great for this.
I like to know
both.
I just bop along to the beat to the dancing songs but I listen to and relate to the lyrics of long and sad songs
