Well, I've many things to sell of my own for starters--both new and used items.
Perhaps around 800-1000$ worth
But was thinking of eventually having my own business on there.
Hopefully there aren't too many problems to deal with on there

It's all based on the demand for your product. If you're selling doilies, then you probably won't see as much activity as you would for something related to computers, ya know. So think about how much of a demand there is for what you're selling and that will give you some idea of how much you can expect to earn and how quickly.
it depends on what you got to sell and if people on eBay want it or need it real bad

It was over time just getting rid of clutter around the house.
