Do u think people keep their q&a private because they cause trouble?!
Question: I noticed people who ask obnoxious questions, or who give rude and unwanted answers seem to always keep their Q&A private. I'm sure others do too, but it seems the majority of people who are on here for legitimate reasons either to get advice or give it don't hide their "past" so to say.
What does everyone else think?

3 reasons yes the obvious one you just mention, 2 some people have trolls following them, and 3 some people dont know that there accounts are preset for that.
Not really,no.
It's so trolls won't try to get their accounts suspended by reporting what they've asked.

I AGREE, I'VE TRIED TO CLICK ON THEIR AVATAR TO LEAVE THEM A MESSAGE, ITS ALL BLOCKED AND PRIVATE!!
Some do, but most people keep their questions and answers private to avoid trolls. These said trolls (that also keep everything private) will go through a public profile and report every question and answer to get that person suspended. It's sad. I hate to keep mine private, but I have been suspended 3 times. I have actually made it to level 5 because I kept my answers and questions private.
I keep mine open...but god recently I have had 3 of my questions removed, and 2 of my answers removed because of people reporting me. I might change it to private...not sure.
In the Politics and R&S sections there are people who cause trouble for you if they don't like you question or answer, even is it doesn't cause any real offense. And especially if the answer is true.
