Storebought cookbooks or homemade cookbooks with family recipes?!

Question: My family never started a family cookbook so for years now i've been collecting Taste Of Home but last year i got a binder and fancy paper and when i make a new thing we enjoy i write it down and add photo's.
I've added our family recipes aswell from the past 75 years.
When my girls help me bake something they like i add photo's of them cooking and enjoying their dish.
