I was Allison Reynolds, no doubt about it! I grew up trying so hard to be what I wasn't my whole life became one imaginative story after the next!!! Needless to say that I have since moved far, far away from the people who knew me when!!!
My favourite line in it has to be when Vernon says "Don't mess with the bull, young man. You'll get the horns."

I would say that I identified with both Bender and Anthony Michael Hall's character because there was no way I was a preppy cheerleader type, and I wasn't a nutbag so I couldn't identify with either girl. I was a brain who hung with all the bad kids, essentially. My favorite lines.....probably the way Ally Sheedy says "Claire did it" when Emilio notices she has make-up on and looks better. She says it like she did something wrong to her! Very funny.
I felt more like the girl from Sixteen Candles. Always seemed to want the boy that seemed to be out of reach, but it worked out in the end.
