I dislike the very gory ones, no story just blood and guts.

I too loved the old Hammer ones, I remember going to see the first Dracula one with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, it was in 1958, I was just sixteen at the time (That was the legal age to watch the old X films)

Because I looked much younger than my age at the time,( I had been refused entry whenever I tried before), I took my birth certificate with me to the cinema, they didn't check it but I wasn'y going to take any chances.

It's a laugh now, but a few months before I had been refused entry in to see "Abott and Costello meet Frankenstein", because the censors had given it an X, how tmes have changed.

werewolves are my sworn enemy, I don't like the big hairy things, and god do they smell

I don't mind any of the monster type characters and I don't like the type of horror films that could really happen.

I hate the ones like Saw which have no real story and are just a two hour session of people having their fake guts thrown against the wall - I like the good old-fashioned ones with real stories to them.

I don't like probey/wormy alien-like things.

Hope that enlightened you.

I dislike zombie films.

any horror move scares me - especially when there is alot of blood, gore, suspence. I hate when you know something is going to happen, and you just have to wait for it

I dont like those ones where they have scary little children singing in high voices... that is possibly the scariest thing in the world. I dont really like horrors as a genre, but there are a few i dont mind, usually the ones that have a real story and point behind them and aren't just full of fake blood.

The american films that are just copies of the japanese or chinese originals.

i hate (and refuse to watch) movies like Jason, Halloween or Nightmare on Elm St.

i dislike anything that won't die.

dont like the gory ones as they just aint scary
any big spiders will give me nightmares 4 weeks & alien ones r just tacky!
xx

I don't like horror films that get very very very gory - they go so over the top that it's way beyond my imagination and therefore goes way over my head - I find it more boring than scary. For me, 'less is more' in a good horror film.

M.R. James Ghost stories are good and..... possible! That's what makes them good for me.

I can't stand the ones where the actors runs around screaming and falling over. Its just soooo predictable. they run, they fall, they get killed - boring. Freddy and Jason type films are just daft. give me a good vampire film any day

I love all kinds of horror films and books. I've been watching some Hammer Horror films recently as well, they're good.

My first wedding video (shudder)

People getting chopped up, and I really dont like any monster character, when I was young I did, I now prefer scary ghost movies
