Hide underneath my blanket making sure that no limbs were sticking out. This always protected me when I was a child for some reason...

I live in one of the oldest houses in my county. It was built in the 1830's and was used as a hospital during the civil war. There have been times, when I have heard what sounds distinctly like footsteps coming from the upstairs of the house. I'm not alone in this, I have had others over at my house who have heard it as well. My 120 lbs. Rottweiler also goes nuts, hair on the back of his neck standing up. I've looked, and never found anyone upstairs. Aside from being a little freaky, I've never found anything like bloody faced girls with scary teeth in my house. So, I don't worry about it much.
I'd call the Ghostbusters immediately.
