If you borrowed someones car, what condition would you return it.?!

Question: I let someone borrow my truck last night and :
My seat was pushed back
My mirrors were all mis-aligned
My #5 radio station button was reprogrammed
My radio was turned to full blast
There was a Red Bull can rolling around by the gas/breal pedals
I was down about a 1/4 tank...

I might not know where your seat was - but I would try and just leave it all alone unless it was impossible (I am 5'10 - so if I borrow a 5'1 girl's car - yeah) but definitely clean and more gas than when you gave it to me.

You don't mess with man's presets.

you should be pissed..........

perfect condition

i don't borrow anything

It would be returned all banged up because I don't know how to drive.

The same way it was given to me

The same as when I got into it.

I would return it in the same or better condition. (I might run it through the car wash and fill the gas tank).

I would return it in the same condition it was in. And I usually fill the tank (even if it wasn't full) as a little "thank you."

i would return it perfectly

I would have to kick someone's a$^ for that.

Can't do anything about that now, but I would think twice about loaning it to that ignorant person again.

I always try to return any vehicle in the same condition I got it, usually with more gas than when I got it.

I would return in the way that it was when I first borrowed,
gas and everything.
You were kind enough to let me use it,
I might need it again so I don't want to burn any bridges.

If I borrowed somebodys car I would return it in the SAME state it was, plus I would replace the gas I used up. Not all people do that but I would, I was brought up to repsect others.

Whoever did that to your car is ignorant as hell. I would ask them to replace the gas but then again, YOU gave them your car to use. You should of made it clear that you wanted the car returned in the same state you left it, and that you wanted the gas replaced.

in the same condition when i first borrowed

I'd return it in the same condition I borrowed it and I'd top the petrol back up.

The first two things in your list are understandable. Other people don't know where you keep your seat or your mirrors and can't put them back to where you had them. They have to be adjusted for each driver.

The rest of the list is inexcusable. There is NO reason to re-program other people's car radios. Leaving the radio on when you turn off the car can be bad for it and is rude. Leaving trash in the truck shows a lack of respect for your property. And not replacing the gas used is so thoughtless as to almost be reason to end the friendship.

If I borrow someone else's vehicle, I give it back to them in BETTER condition than when I borrowed it (run it through a car wash and fill the tank with gas, no matter how much gas was in it when I got it).

Good luck sorting this one out...

I would return it in the same condition. It would have more gas in it than when I used it to say thanks.

id make sure it went back the way i got it,otherwise they would never lend it to me again

In the condition I borrowed it or better.

That was some ignorant person you loaned that truck to!
