I am fat and I consider myself to be ugly because that is all I hear. Nobody ever says that fat girls are pretty, so if all I ever hear is that I am ugly, how am I supposed to think otherwise?
ME? Why do I? I lived with a super fat guy for 5 years. I left him for other reasons. he is still one of the most beautiful people I know.

It used to be a sign of wealth because you could afford enough food to get fat. Today, being fat is accessible to anyone who has access to MacDonalds, so it no longer carries any cachet. Since poor people can now be fat it is desirable instead to be in good shape because that shows you are smart enough to eat right or wealthy enough to join a health club.

To tell you the honest to god truth I don't look at people that way. I am not overweight but I am ONLY attracted to guys that are overweight or as you would say "fat". Not all people are as shallow as you and really do go by personality.
some big girls have pretty faces and hair. I think the human race is by a good majority afraid to be fat. Think about it, everytime you hear an ad on the tv or the radio, it's about how much weight you can lose. We are all diet crazed and I think at the base of it all we are either a) jealous of fat people because of what they allow themselves to eat/look like b) we are also afraid that we will end up looking like them.
Because they are stereotyped as;
Too fat to be able to wash properly
They don't tend to wear make-up or do their hair coz they've given up on their appearance
Everyone imagines them to be sat all day long stuffing their faces
They are too fat to do any exercise so they are lazy

I say there are good looking fat people and ugly fat people.Just like there are good looking skinny people and ugly skinny people.
Well I don't consider 'fat' people to be ugly. In fact I much prefer girls that are voluptuous than slim. And I know I'm by no means alone, as lots of boys like girls who are big and womanly.
p.s. one of the things that genetically attracts girls to boys is child-rearing capacity, so big girls win out there.

The way I see it, if you can't control your eating, you can't control anything else. Fat people hate thier wieght...they might put on a front, but it's a weak one. I've never been called PC, and I think fat people just look disgusting.
i don't personally...as a matter of fact, i know some "fat" females that are quite attractive.
My son's girlfriend is obese. She is beautiful. However, we all worry about her health. Being obese has caused her health problems already and she's only 30. If she gets fatter, she'll have even more problems. My son tries to encourage her to eat better and to go for walks with him. She does, but it hasn't made any difference.

It′s a social thing. When people were poor and malnourished they thought fat people were nice looking since fat showed health and someone who wasn′t starving. That′s why thin persons were considered ugly, because they were poor and couldn′t properly feed themselves. Now it′s the other way around. Fat people are usually poor people that consume cheap and unhealthy meals.
Because in the world today, being "skinny" is ideal.
I don't think all fat people are ugly. Some have really pretty faces and stuff. Unless you're dirty, oily and fat at the same time...
personally, if your face is attractive, even if you're chunky . . . you're attractive.
anywho, it goes back to the times of survival of the fittest. and chunky isn't always gonna win. A muscular male can defend his offspring, healthy hair and skin on both sexes will produce attractive and healthy offspring.
However, in most animals, the males would seek the fattest female to mate with because they would survive any hardships and the offspring would be healthy(er).
i know a lot of attractive heavier women -the problem lies when the fat is in rolls.Everyone gains weight at time goes along.It when its out of control and very excessive.This is the same for men and women
because western society from magazines to movies tell us that we have to be slim to be beautiful, being overweight means we are lazy and don't take care of ourselves. In other societies around the world thin women are considered poor and sickly whilst larger woman are looked upon as rich and more powerful...depends where you live I guess
