I had a broken ankle and two teenagers to watch at the time. I had to go up & down the stairs on my butt. I had to hope they would listen and cooperate. I would try to do as many chores as possible on crutches. What a sucky time in my life! You can spend time on the net doing things and then try to get outside, weather permitting. Sorry to hear of your predicament!

That happened to me too - I had a cast on for 4 weeks and then another cast (a walking one) on for another 4 weeks. 9 pins and two rods in my leg...boring as hell sitting at home - but keep lots of magazines and books and rented movies around you - hopefully you'll be lucky like I was and your friends will visit - and before you know it you'll be out and good as new.
Actually sooty.....thats an easy one for me to answer. Read and sleep, read and sleep, read and sleep......damn I wish MY leg were broke.......
