I have I very simple rule on male facial hair patterns: all or nothing.
I love a full well groomed beard on a man, Especially one with a bit of salt & pepper in it. But mustaches alone? Bad.
Beards alone? Really bad. Those stupid soul patch, landing strip designs? The worst!

i'm not too much into facial hair..but my bf every once in awhile will the goetee (sp) thing which isn't too bad.
my man has a gotee and he keeps it and the mustache for me cause I like it. very neat though, dont go all wild and wooley on me now! LOL
