You never know how long you might be snowed in if it is a really bad one.
and if you lose power, the milk goes bad...and when was the last time anyone was stuck in their house for days because of the weather? Yet...they do it every time!!!!

Hahaha I've been wondering the same thing myself. If the power goes our from the storm, what are they going to do with the eggs? Eventually the milk will go bad too. Just buy lots of soda and chips and you're set!

Around here, I always question why 3 million people feel compelled to cram themselves into 3 square miles of bayfront every fourth of July. Somehow that is not how I picture spending my holiday off.
I live way up in Maine, so we're used to seeing this kind of thing! Wal-Mart is usually standing room only the day before a storm is supposed to hit. As a matter of fact, we're supposed to get a "Wintery Mix" tommorow afternoon...So much for going shopping!
because they're afraid they'll be trapped inside their home w/nothing to eat, so they stock up!
