I also remember Ktel records, Ronco records ,8 track tapes, 78s and even the slightly smaller than 45s 16rpm records,,,,,VINYL ROCKS,,,,
You didn't go back quite far enough....my collection includes...get this.....78....and 16....really hard to find those today.

Oh yes ...I used to tape top of the pops charts on a sunday night with my little cassette player with one speaker and listen all week
I enjoyed all of the above.....I like CDs...but I have a lot of my older music on cassettes, which I listen to in my car...my b/f thinks I'm crazy to listen to those....but we have different taste in music....we like some things the same....but most different.
Used all of them as well.
like charlie c ,I've still got a couple of old 78rpm records of Mario Lanzo .loads of 33 and 45 rpm vinyls as well.but dont have a record player now .so they just lay there gathering the dust,
