My friend Kat calls me and wants to "hang out", but then when we meet up she spends the entire time doing things without me, or calling other people and asking them to hang out.
I think she needs to feel wanted, she feels constantly insecure for some reason and she just needs to know that people like her.
And even though she ignores her friends for the most part, we do like her.

I used to have someone who did that...and then I stopped responding because I am not here to be a personal 'crisis network'! She was not a friend, but only wanted to be around when the heroin wore off or when she was scared of what she was doing in her life...I was not standing for that.
yes.. and i dont associate with her anymore.. i am more than willing to help friends out if they are trying to help them selfs out... not just sitting around with out a job..

I do and yes. Perhaps that is where the relationship is right now but it hasn't always been so and will continue to change so may not be again some day. Everyone deserves a chance.

yes. and i hate her for it because i KNOW that she's using me. i've even openly pointed it out to her and she's just like hm...oh well and goes on being a brat. she just uses everybody for her own self-preservation...it was better when i didnt know her this well.
i had one like that 4 years ago,she used me every chance she got! we would make plans to go places and this clown would take off on me at the last minute to her mothers house wthout telling me.im still ticked off with her,no i dont see her anymore
