Answers: Flunkie to feed his or her ego?

yes oh my god yes.
im a cashier at a grocery store and my boss is a huge b*tch, i called in sick one day and she claims i was lying because i picked someone up thr night before at work to go to the movies. truth is i was really sick , but since i didn't have a doctor's note my word wasn't good enough, then she gives me a warning.
it's just a thing that some bosses who deal with kids my age (anywhere from 14-21) she thinks she can treat us like dirt and we're all just expendable, well i'll have the last laugh when i have a better job than working at a stupid grocery store when im in my 40's, i'll have a career :D

No. I have had very nice bosses.

Yeah, I understand. ..Bosses like that do not make it.....just a matter of time. ...

Yup, but I laugh at him while his back is turned because I know he can't read. So, who's the bigger idiot?

No , to be honest, the guy I work for is the coolest ever.

Yes and I deal with him every day. I hate this job and some day I am gonna tell them to kiss it and walk out of here and never come back!

Yes. I had a horrible boss. Too horrible to really tell you all about here, but let's just say, I don't work there anymore.

yes

Yes!! Three months ago at my last job that I ended up walking out on after being there for 9 months! She was very short and it made her feel good to put others down. I guess it made her feel taller. LOL! She was like 4'9 or something. I'm 5'2. I though I was short until I met her. One day I couldn't take it anymore and I left. She had no remorse that I was going through some hard times in my personal life. My father and my mother-in-law were both diagnosed with cancer within two months of each other and my mother-in-law passed away after three months of having brain cancer. I missed a few days of work and she wasn't happy with that. How cold can someone be?!!!!

Sadly a couple of them

the wonderful superiority complex. my first boss tried to bully us teenagers trying to hold down jobs and go to school at the same time.

he always liked to hold over our heads that texas is an at-will state and managers can fire their employees for any reason. luckily, i got out of there about the time he tried to demote me. never had any regrets.

he was a douche. haha

no i had a boss, that tried to be to nice

Oh yea! I think we all have. My last boss was "always right" it was very annoying and I quit shortly after his ego trips got out of control.
