Yes, when I was a cocktail waitress at a casino several years ago. This other waitress tried to get me fired because I was a rookie and I was getting more tips than her (it pays to be nice to the guests...something she never knew about). She got her comeuppance a month later when I confronted her at a bar, then beating the living crap out of her (don't ever mess with me...EVER!!). This is one of the main reasons why I have a home business now and I hate working around everyone else!

This was not the only time I had a problem with a co-worker....or manager!

no

I have and it made me miserable because he was nice to my face and playin' dirty behind my back. I had to constantly keep proving my worth, I was crying on the inside, but do you know that person is gone and I'm still here, so perseverance is all i can say

Yes, that is why I'm currently unemployed. This person used to brag that she had been fired from every job she'd ever had, & always took someone she didn't like w/her. Well, this time it was me, & I honestly didn't deserve it. This is a person I routinely helped & defended to others but OH WELL.....It turned out for the best, & now that the shock has worn off, I'm glad it happened, but she will have to explain it God someday, & I wish her luck....

I work in the automotive industry. The first thing you learn is CYA...

That's what happened when I worked at Burger King with a bunch of teenagers. I proved myself to my boss who asked me about $50 missing from my drawer. And another time $20...
The chick I was training ended up being the one who stole it.
Caught on tape.
Grrr.

Heck yeah! I used to work in an office with a bunch of bitter divorcees who were mad they had to get off the living room couch and get a job. I worked my butt off at that place to get promoted multiple times while they tried to make me look as bad as possible.

It wasn't just me either. My aunt now works in that same office and has the same experiences I did.

No....i did have one tell my boss I called someone a b*tch....it was true but my boss didnt need to know that.

Several years ago, I was working at a restaurant in Dallas. One day, I decided to go drinking at the bar, and I called in sick. While putting my buzz on, I ran into a "friend" of mine, who was also a co-worker. I told him what I had done, and we LAUGHED and drank all night long. Next day, boss pulls me aside and tells me that this "friend" told him about our wild night. I was fired.

yes I have, and she was successful! Biatch!
