LOL...I just saw Idiocracy last week. And everything I see happening reminds me of that movie!
And I think Sly should team up with a few other over the hill, over the weight scale, time to consider new role actors and make a new series of films. Something like the 'Bad Boys Reminisce' or the 'Way We Were but Just Can't Quite Return To'.
It is mostly related to release dates, you know.

I stopped being surprized with the success of Borat.
I'm more worried about the collective move towards the acceptance of violence in our society.... the more blood and gore we see the more it's acceptable... and it's a downward spiral from there.

Having said that let me add that I LOVE kung-fu movies despite their violence.

I could not believe it when I heard that! I saw Stallone on the Today show last week and he looks awful. I bet they don't show many close ups of his action shots in the movie. Really pitiful!
hopefully that means, the teenagers took over the movies. Who would actually pay money to see "Meet the Spartans"???
