I think there are a lot of folks out there who are miserable with their own life and cannot tolerate anyone who isn't just as miserable.
It's a shame, too, cause lots of times when we are just acting a fool on here, they answer questions such a serious vein, one can only scratch their heads in wonder.

Everyone is different. Some people don't seem to have a sense of humor at all. Also, some people with a great sense of humor get knocked down by the ones who don't have it. If you live with humorless people, it tends to make you the same way after a while. I can understand what you're saying.
