30-50 is an average pace. I went from 30-95wpm in 2 months..

you can also google typing tutor, and thier are a ton of sites that can help u out.

typing tip- read the letters and not the words when copying.. and/or spell the word out in your head instead of just typing it. you will have less errors. because your fingers are trained by the letters and where it is on the keyboard, not on words.

how's the hangover hun??

keep practicing you will get faster

lmao, it takes lots of practice, if you practice everyday for about 1 hour a day you should be at 60wpm in about 2 months, good luck!!

I can type quite fast but probs not 60 w/m lol

it could take u ages

2 weeks

Probably about 6 months maybe less. Do you know the basic keyboard? That's the key. Maybe answer more questions or find a reason to type a lot.

You can type 29 wpm ....?
Wow!
Will you be my new hot, male secretary ...?
You can have beer on your lunch breaks and vodka anytime you like.

I can do 120 words per minute..... if you don't mind me knot using my sprel chek

practice practice practice.

If you are anything like me, it will take forever and a day! See, I'm not a fast typist, but I'm not a slow typist either; I'm a half-fast typist! To me though, accuracy is much more important than speed.

why do you want to type faster?
whats the rush?

I'm not that fast of a typer,But the more time I spend with the computer chatting I get faster, with practice you might be able to do it within a month possibly if you really try.I hope you reach ur goal of what you want.=)

youre getting there, dont give up babe.
try drinking some michelob light, that seems to help make everything

i'm a slow thinker therefore.....!

Just keep wasting time in front of the computer, like I do. you'll get there eventually.

Maybe you are trying too hard for too long a time.

might be easier if you weren't duct taped to that wall...

just need to let it flow, relax and do like the wise Miss E. says

too much too fast can lead to cramping and burn out.

I have only become somewhat more proficient since being on
IM with a special friend... motivation and relaxed practice. mmm.

the occasional glass of wine to relax helps me too.

Edit:
and if you have FireFox browser here are some links to typing
extensions for drills and such:

I installed this one, but haven't had the chance to try it out.
