you were probaly being insensitive. or she just didnt want your opinion
Only give out that kind of advice when she asks for it.. That was rude on your part. Put yourself in her shoes and don't say you would take it as helpful advice because you know it would upset you
It might have been the way you said it. She might now want your advice. Maybe she thinks your one to talk?!
