Question: Gives a whole new meaning to "what goes up must come down" they sent off letters on balloons from her school and 15 yrs later a fisherman found it stuck to a fish!!

Me and my mates threw a message in a bottle each into the sea in NI and I got a postcard from Scotland and one of my mates got a letter from a Norwegian woman. This was in about 1980.

How about that letter that went missing for 95 years before it was found in illinois and sent to Kansas which was the last known address of the reciepient.

I just read that story! So cool!! I kinda have a story, but I didn't find it...(. It was sorta handed to me). I was at my gradmas house, and she handed me a box with some stuff in it. I opened it, and there was a picture with someone I had no clue who it was. It turns out, it was a picture of my great grandma when she was like 17 years old, and there was a ring in the box, too, and it was my grandmother's high school ring!!
A 7 year old boy put a message in a bottle and threw it into Lake Michigan and my husband found it at our Marina in 2006, the note was dated 6/25/87. We called the number he gave and his mother gave him our number we still talk. Very cool experience.
