Do you like your pastor or minister?!

Question: And why? Can be non-Christian spiritual leader too.

Answers: And why? Can be non-Christian spiritual leader too.

Frankly, I've never cared for pastors or ministers. The last one had me fooled for quite a few years. He turned out to be the opposite of what I thought (now I believe he is pure evil). Anyway, I'm not a religious person and haven't been in awhile. I left that behind with my childhood. I am a spiritual person and, recently, I encountered a very charismatic gentleman on a chat site who runs a ministry of sorts. I am intrigued by him; I agree with a lot of what he says and he makes a lot of sense. He has quite a following. The only reservation I have is that it's some kind of cult. For example, he will im me to hurry up to his chat and get there asap with some friends so that his number of members goes up (into the hundreds). I like him as he is quite intelligent, learned, and is a scholar. As to whether it's a cult, time will tell, I suppose. He's the closest thing to a minister I currently know.

Not really. I don't like serious people.

i like father ken hes funny..
but not father peter..he came over from the phillipenes and speaks very broken english so i can hardly understand him...

yeah, hes cool

Yeah, he's a nice guy

ehmm..maybe none~~

I'm not religious

no. he demands too much and wants to take control of our life

I was raised Lutheran, and I'm only 14 now so I still attend a Lutheran Christian church even though I don't believe in it anymore.

And I honestly don't like the pastor at my church. It's not for the fact that he believes in a faith that I don't, I just feel so belittled whenever I'm around him....he's rather condescending. Corrects what I do, glares at me, I almost feel like he sees right through me and says "what a faker." It's almost like he feels above me and has to make me see that he is so calm and righteous and doesn't make any mistakes. He's "in" with God.

I think I'd believe in Christianity a lot more if I belonged to a different church. I like some of the concepts, but I'm much more of a religion-mixer. I know I'm not 100% Christian, but I know for a fact that going to church shouldn't make you feel like that. You should feel accepted.

I prefer halibut myself.

the ocean's answer to beef.

never met him......

he's a great guy, very literate and has a well-rounded background (worked for corporations, has an undergrad degree from a state university and a doctorate in divinity) a parent and a stabilizing influence on the congregation..
