Agree. I want to throw the case against the wall and smash it to pieces, it's like, what the...? They're so paranoid!
I got the first layer off and I'm like "YES!" but then there's another layer and I take that off and I'm like "YES!!!" then there's super sticky tape that refuses to come off and I'm like:

i think you need to calm down. your life has got to be bad if your frustrated with the protection on dvd/cd cases. Don't sweat the small stuff.
I get frustrated trying to open DVD's . But dude. There is such thing as ITUNES. its the 21st century baby.

i used to off my head opening new dvd's. now i use a thin sharp knife and slice along the join of the plastic covering.
yes it gets me everytime.....but LOL the sad thing is that they really do need all of that because it makes it harder for people to steal them............
Yes! The last time I opened a DVD, I ended up ripping the back cover. At the time I got mad at people who steal them because they're the reason it is so hard to remove all the tape and seals. The rest of us have to put up with the results.
