Question: yup. i had to wait for years to get a horse, now i enoy my horses more than i ever would've if i'd gotten them immediatly. but it goes for so much more than that, too.

It depends on the circumstances. If you're hungry & have to wait to eat, then yes, even mediocre food becomes amazing.
But bad sex is even worse if you had to wait.
I think it's more that whatever reaction you have to it is intensified if you have to wait for it.
