Everyone should be polite and considerate not just men. The stronger members of society (male or female) should refrain from harming and protect the weaker members of society.
Chivalry is outdated .... having good manners and showing respect shouldn't be gender specific. To many people confuse the two.

Yes, they should. Women should be appreciated MUCH more than they are and a man should be chivalrous at all times, rather he is "with her" or just as a general rule.
