There is an old movie called "Network." There is a scene in that movie where the actor (Ned Beatty - probably never heard of him but you might have seen him) delivers a great monologue about how the world is no longer made up of governments. It's a great moment in movies. It's a strange one but I liked it.

I have several but this is the first one to come to mind.
In most movies Samuel L. Jackson is in he has a rant, where he just goes on and on.
In Deep Blue Sea he starts into a rant and then gets eaten by a shark. I like Samuel L. Jackson, but that scene was hilarious to me because it seems like SOMEONE finally got a way for him to shut-up. :)
