Is she really blind?!

Question: A lady called the hotel the other day to make a reservation. She wanted a room with a view. I explained all our rooms had spectacular views and what the rates were. She took the $380 room and said she'd be bringing her dog. I informed her we had to charge another $60 for the dog. Then she explained it was her seeing eye dog so she should not be charged for that. I was a little suspicious but figured maybe she wanted the view for the dog. When she showed up I became even more suspicious when she asked the concierge to have her car parked in the underground lot.

Oh, how cynical you are. Let's look at this through a more compassionate view. Shall we?

She obviously was concerned about the well being of her seeing-eye dog. After all that poor beast is confined to a harness all the time. So, being able to look out upon the world is not much to ask.

Now, about the car. You, I would assume, know that there are many conveniences now available to the "sight challenged" people of our society. Just look at the drive up bank windows. All have Braille pads for our blind citizens.

I would assume also that the underground lot was cheaper than the front of your fine establishment. Since she has no concept of light, why should she not avail herself to the savings?

So, maybe you should just back up a bit

Of course if that worthless dog craps in the room and she rips up the corridor lighting with her cane, ding her at least a thousand bucks.

I wouldn't be too suspicious, I'm sure the dog was driving.

A blind lady wanting a view, and driving a car? Yeah, right!

It sounds suspicious to me, i highly doubt she was blind.

Of course he dog is directing her driving! She works the pedals and the dog barks once for stop, twice for right, three times for left, and whines to go!

Seriously tho she doesn't sound very blind

theres every reason to doubt that shes blind. sounds like she did it to save 60 bucks.

room with a good view for the dog? Not likely

needing car parked and arrived with dog as only companion . . . . . so seeing eye dog can drive and appreciate a good view? Don't think so

Is this lady blind? All signs point to NO

she using ya.

oh, one time, these two guys wanted to take themselves and their dogs to a cafe.
but they didn't allow dogs.
so the first guy who had a doberman said to the host after he put on some dark glasses "he's my seeing eye dog"
and the host says "a doberman?"
and he replied "yes, and hes a great leader."

well the second guy thought that was cool and wanted to try it too. so he puts on some dark glasses also and says to the host "this is my seeing eye dog"
and ya know, the dudes got a chiuaua.
and the host said "your seeing eye dog is a chiuaua??"
and the man replied, "A CHIUAUA!!!! THEY GAVE ME A CHIUAUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

No not if she can drive a car.

NOPE< she is not blind and you should report her to management cose she has to pay extra for the dog. I hate when people lie about little tings like that, I mean come on if you want to bring your dog along just pay! Don't be cheap! The "blind" lady I mean! I wonder if you were doing this to her, she would freak out!
