yes. whether you or your parents are paying for it, it's an investment of money and time and energy, and you only get out what you put in. except the money, no matter how much money you put in, you won't get it back. but depending on how much you study, you can possibly earn more when you graduate and pay the loans back quicker.

There are quite a few individuals who have made a successful living without the need of college. Hollywood is a great place to see this occurrence.
Now, if you take closer look at college. It's become a financial goldmine. With government aid, grants, and loans.... colleges and universities are making a killing. If you include the amount of money for college basketball and football that's earned from corporate sponsors.... then you know that a college or university is just a vacuum sucking up all of your money. Here's what corporations do. They hire college grads who don't have a great deal of knowledge about what they are applying for, and pay them a salary that will help pay back the loan they received in college. Trust me, there's a huge scam or TRIANGULAR PYRAMID SCHEME contrived in this game. It'll never be brought out because of the amount of government involvement.
Study all you want. It will get you a decent job, but if you don't.... go to Hollywood and pimp yourself to bunch of GED, or college dropout millionaires.
