Should my friend be disqualified from Yahoo Personals DATING SERVICE?!

Question: Those prudes at the dating service rejected his
application because the three adjectives he chose
to describe himself were
"intense,"
"trigger-happy"
and "loner."
Big Deal!! So WHAT if "Loner"
is a noun!?

what a bunch of polly prissy pants!!

no

thats bogus...shows how much those sites care about people

Your friend sounds like my type.

wow, someone can actually be rejected from yahoo personels? I was on it about 8 years ago and they took anyone and everyone.
btw, those words to describe him make him sound scary.

sounds pretty stupid to me, whats the point of being able to list stuff about yourself if you get punished for your honesty!!

Pity I wasn't single...I'd date him. He doesn't need to find a date online. Tell him to go out and have a work in the park or to the movies or a social club.

Tell him to e mail me ... What a catch!

Picky bastards.

Well he can't be disqualified if he was never made it on there in the first place...he didn't make it past the the application process...

ROTFLMAO! I guess he should have stayed awake in Jr. High English then he would have known that "loner" is a noun!

Well, this could have been worse. He didn't use a verb or dangle this participle. Some guy was dangling his participle here at Yahoo Answers and his account got suspended.

that's just wrong of them to do that to him.... My friend got treated the same way and all he said on his was
"Pyromaniac"
"Plays with matches"
and
and he "enjoys throwing rolls of carpet into rivers"

I don't know what the big deal is either..

Uh, sugar plum, I do believe that 'intense, trigger-happy, and loner' is an FBI profile of a serial killer...or disreputable sort of some kind...it's part of a profile though!

I know what you mean, mine was thrown out for my statement profile: does not play well with others..

those 3 words are definitly a red flag...good luck to your "friend"

I have no idea..Those words sound good to me as words to describe himself.

Match.com rejected a friend of mine because she's handicap. I thought that was really bad.

No, that's not fair. They're jumping to the conclusion that he is a psycho killer (or maybe just a little psycho) because of those three little words.

Well, I am sorry about your friend. In todays litigious society, I am sure that Yahoo did not want to match someone up with this friend and then be sued when he did get a little intense and trigger happy during the relationship. Has he tried eharmony.com? LOL

LOL !!!!!! HILARIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!
