How do I politely tell a co-worker that she can't sing????!
Question: I have a co-worker who recently started turning the radio on every morning & instead of letting everyone ENJOY listening to the music, she has to sing damned near EVERY song as if she's a rock star. She's AWFUL. Squeeky, cracking voice....Aaarrrrrrgh, I can't take it much longer.
I've tried the subtle hints like: "Hey, who sings that song? Followed by: Great, well let's keep it that way!"
Do I just get up and go yank the stereo out of the wall plug in toss it to the ground jumping up and down on it till it a million pieces? Or should I do the same to her?
Ahhhh, she's doing it now & I can barely focus to type....and she thinks she's good....HELP!!!!!

There is no being polite anymore -- this woman has grated on your nerves with her screeching. And it must stop.
My God, man, you can barely type!
You:"hey who sings this/that song?"
Her: "oh this performer"
You: "oh really? maybe you should let them finish the song"
..I don't really think there is anything polite about that.
How about just simply saying you can't concentrate on your work and can she stop or sing quietly to herself.
